Sheila Holman

Ms. Sheila Holman graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. She worked for the United States Environmental Protection Agency for the first five years of her career. She has been with the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality since January 1993. She has held several positions during her 23 years with the Department, including Planning Section Chief. In August 2008, Ms. Holman was named Deputy Director of the Division of Air Quality. As Deputy Director, she was responsible for enforcement activities, as well as general oversight of the air quality program. On June 28, 2010, she was appointed Director of the Division of Air Quality.
